Key Highlights: Taiyuan Water Treatment plants, vital in the environmental sector, contend with high energy consumption due to stricter emission standards, emphasizing the importance of energy efficiency.

The industry contributes 1% of societal carbon emissions, with electricity use from these plants accounting for 0.5%. Reducing this consumption translates to cutting carbon emissions.

In response to the "dual carbon" policy, Wenergy and Taiyuan Treatment have launched an energy storage project in Anyang City, Henan Province. With a capacity of 0.88MW/1.948MWh, it optimizes energy use through peak/off-peak pricing and a management model. This initiative aims for energy savings, cost reduction, and sustainable water treatment practices.
