Key Highlights: The lithium mining project covers an area of 16 square kilometers with an ore processing capacity of 700,000 tons per year. Given Zimbabwe's relatively high electricity prices, and to ensure the mining capacity while harnessing the abundant solar resources in the area, the project adopts a "PV + Energy Storage + Diesel Generator" model to establish a smart solar-energy storage-diesel microgrid, promoting efficient utilization of distributed energy resources.

This initiative marks Zimbabwe's first solar power station with energy storage and the first energy system integrating grid power, diesel generation, solar, and energy storage. By leveraging renewable energy resources and advanced storage technologies, WinEnergy's energy storage solutions are driving Zimbabwe towards energy transition, providing reliable and cost-effective electricity supply for economic and social development.
