What is "Incremental Distribution Network"

"Incremental Distribution Network" refers to companies that, beyond the local State Grid Corporation, hold exclusive controlling rights over existing distribution network assets, which are regarded as incremental distribution operations. These entities encompass high-tech parks, economic and technological development zones, local power grids, and flat-rate (dun) sales counties. If these companies have not previously engaged in distribution network services, they can apply to and receive approval from local government energy management departments to commence distribution network operations. Upon meeting the requirements for electricity sales company admission and completing the admission process, they can initiate electricity sales activities.

As a nascent development in the current round of power sector reforms, Incremental Distribution Networks are tasked with enhancing distribution efficiency, increasing power supply reliability for general commercial and large industrial customers, and reducing electricity costs.

Energy Storage + Incremental Distribution Network

Energy storage systems can optimize and adjust the relationships between sources, grids, and loads, balancing the fluctuating output of renewable energy sources and stabilizing the supply-demand dynamics of the grid. This helps ensure a more stable operation of the power grid by effectively managing the supply of electricity.
