Wenergy continues to strengthen its presence in the European energy storage market, securing new battery energy storage system (BESS) projects in Germany and the United Kingdom. The latest collaborations highlight the company’s ability to deliver application-driven energy storage solutions tailored to different market requirements, ranging from commercial and industrial (C&I) energy management to electricity market participation.​

In Germany, Wenergy will deploy its Stars CL261 liquid-cooled C&I ESS Cabinet to support customers seeking greater energy flexibility and improved operational efficiency. As renewable energy penetration continues to increase, many commercial and industrial facilities face challenges such as maximizing photovoltaic (PV) self-consumption, managing peak electricity demand, supporting high-power EV charging, and optimizing grid capacity.​

The Stars CL261 is designed to address these requirements by enabling coordinated operation between PV generation, battery storage, the utility grid, and facility loads. The system supports solar-plus-storage applications, peak shaving, load shifting, local grid optimization, and flexible power support for high-demand equipment, helping customers improve renewable energy utilization while reducing operating costs.​

In the UK, Wenergy will supply its Stars Series 289KWh C&I ESS Cabinet for an energy trading application. Unlike traditional behind-the-meter projects, this deployment is designed to participate directly in electricity market operations through intelligent charging and discharging strategies. By responding to electricity price fluctuations and dispatch signals, the system helps optimize energy trading performance while enhancing grid flexibility.​

The solution also incorporates advanced energy management capabilities, anti-backflow control, and compliance with international safety standards, including CE and IEC 62619, while supporting UK grid connection requirements such as G99.​
