On May 11th, Wenergy welcomed Professor Ahmed Aladeem, Advisor to the Chairman of King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST), and his delegation for a factory visit and strategic cooperation discussions focused on the new energy sector.

During the visit, the delegation toured Wenergy’s showroom,  power station, cell production line, battery pack workshop, and assemly plant, gaining a deeper understanding of the company’s manufacturing capabilities and integrated energy storage solutions.

Both parties held in-depth discussions on future cooperation opportunities in Saudi Arabia, including utility-scale solar + storage projects, equipment procurement, localized manufacturing, and broader ESS applications across utility-scale, C&I, residential, and mobile energy storage scenarios.

Professor Ahmed Aladeem highlighted Saudi Arabia’s strong market potential and its future role as a strategic energy hub connecting Europe and Africa. As part of the next steps, both sides plan to advance Wenergy’s first demonstration project in Saudi Arabia, laying the foundation for broader future cooperation in the region.
