Turtle M Series Mobile Energy Storage System
When a project needs power but not a permanent installation, the Turtle M Series brings the battery, PCS, and charging interfaces together on a single trailer-mounted platform. Built for outdoor use (IP54, -30°C to 55°C, up to 4,000m altitude) and designed for fast road transport, it replaces diesel generators and temporary grid connections with a clean, quiet, and rapidly deployable power source — from construction sites and EV charging hubs to disaster-response and remote off-grid locations.
Three capacities are available — 500kW/964kWh, 750kW/1446kWh, and 1000kW/1992kWh — and multiple units can run in collaborative multi-unit operation to scale up power and runtime for larger or longer-duration projects.

Where Mobile Energy Storage Gets Used
| Construction Site Power Construction sites often deal with unstable grid connections or no grid access at all. A Turtle M Series unit can take over from a diesel generator, delivering stable AC 400V power with an optional isolation transformer to handle three-phase load imbalance and sensitive equipment — without the fuel logistics, noise, or emissions of a generator. | EV Charging & Charging Hubs Where permanent charging infrastructure isn’t yet available or a site needs temporary extra capacity, the Turtle M Series can be trailered in and connected directly, with DC fast-charging connectors up to 240kW per port and support for collaborative multi-unit operation to serve higher-demand charging hubs. |
| Emergency & Disaster Relief, Outdoor Events Rated for outdoor operation from -30°C to 55°C with IP54 protection, these units are built to be deployed quickly wherever backup power is suddenly needed — disaster response, emergency backup, or temporary power for outdoor events and gatherings. | Remote Sites: Ports & Mining Areas With a working altitude of up to 4,000m (derated above 2,000m) and C4 corrosion protection, the Turtle M Series is designed to hold up in demanding, remote environments such as ports, mining operations, and other off-grid or weak-grid locations where trailer-based rapid deployment matters more than a fixed installation. |
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1、Is there a mobile energy storage solution that can be deployed for temporary projects?
Yes. The Turtle M Series (500kW/964kWh, 750kW/1,446kWh, and 1000kW/1,929kWh) is a vehicle-based mobile energy storage unit rated IP54 and −30°C to 55°C, so it can be transported to a site, connected, and put into service without a permanent installation — ideal for construction sites, temporary charging needs, or short-duration projects.
2、What power rating of equipment can a mobile BESS unit typically support?
It depends on the model: the Turtle M Series ranges from 500kW to 1,000kW of output power with roughly 964kWh to 1,929kWh of capacity. All models support vehicle-to-vehicle charging — for example, while the 750kW unit is charging, other units can discharge to support the load while being charged in turn, so the load is never interrupted and the fleet’s overall utilization improves. The 500kW and 1000kW models further support collaborative multi-unit operation with real-time energy sharing between units, while the 750kW model uses cloud-based fleet dispatch to coordinate multiple vehicles.
3、Can a mobile energy storage unit replace a diesel generator at a construction site?
Yes. Construction-site power is a listed application across the Turtle M Series. The 750kW and 500kW models support an optional isolation transformer for three-phase load imbalance and sensitive equipment.
4、Are mobile energy storage units practical for emergency disaster relief or temporary power needs?
Yes. With IP54 protection, an operating range of −30°C to 55°C, and tolerance up to 4,000m altitude, the Turtle M Series is designed to run reliably outdoors. The 500kW/964kWh model in particular lists emergency backup and temporary power among its best-fit uses.
5、Can a mobile ESS connect solar, grid power, and a backup source all at once?
The Turtle M Series is designed for mobile power applications, including EV charging support, construction-site power, emergency backup, and grid support. It supports flexible AC/DC charging, AC 400V output, and DC fast-charging functions, providing reliable and flexible power supply for various scenarios. For applications requiring integrated management of solar generation, grid power, and backup sources within one system, a dedicated hybrid energy storage solution is recommended.
6、Is there a quickly deployable mobile storage solution for road transport?
Yes. The Turtle M Series is designed as a mobile energy storage solution for rapid deployment and flexible transportation. All models share the same 6,058×2,438×2,591mm dimensions and can be quickly relocated between different sites. Wenergy provides both complete vehicle solutions and standalone mobile ESS units, allowing customers to choose between a fully integrated transport solution or deployment with their own compatible tractor unit.
7、Is mobile energy storage a reliable option for remote sites like ports or mining areas?
Yes. The Turtle M Series is rated for −30°C to 55°C operation, up to 4,000m altitude (derated above 2,000m), and C4 corrosion protection, making it well suited to demanding outdoor conditions like ports and mining areas — mining in particular is a key application for this line.
8、Is it realistic to use mobile energy storage for power in remote islands or mountainous areas?
In general, yes — the Turtle M Series’ extended operating range makes it a technically suited option for remote or off-grid locations. Actual feasibility for a specific island or mountain site depends on local transport access, load requirements, and recharging logistics, so it’s worth discussing the details with Wenergy’s engineering team before finalizing a plan.
