3、What’s the Difference Between the 261kWh and 289kWh C&I ESS Cabinets?
The 289kWh cabinet (Stars CL289Pro) is physically larger than the 261kWh cabinet — 1588×1380×2450mm versus 1015×1410×2265mm (±10mm) — and offers higher usable capacity. The 261kWh line also comes in PV-Storage-Diesel integrated (Pro), on/off-grid switching (STS), and silent variants for sites needing additional functionality beyond standard grid-tied operation.

4、What’s the Difference Between the 261kWh and 418kWh Cabinets?
The Stars CL418 offers substantially higher capacity (418kWh) than the 261kWh line, with three AC voltage options (400V/690V/800V) and a compact 2m² footprint — versus the 261’s 1.4m² footprint — suited to larger C&I loads where a container-scale system isn’t yet justified.

5、What Is a PV-Storage-Diesel Integrated Cabinet, and How Does It Work?
The Stars CL261Pro combines a 250kW PV input (10 strings), 261kWh battery storage, and a 187kW diesel generator interface within one cabinet, with an integrated hybrid inverter and grid/off-grid switching in under 10ms.

6、Does the Cabinet Support Automatic On/Off-Grid Switching?
Yes — all Stars ESS cabinets except the 385kWh pure DC-side unit (which has no integrated PCS) can be fitted with an STS (Static Transfer Switch) module, enabling automatic on/off-grid switching with a 10ms transfer time. This provides dual-port, tiered power supply for critical loads such as data centers and medical facilities.

7、Can the Cabinet Support EV Charging?
Yes — all Stars ESS cabinets can support EV charging by adding an external charging cabinet, buffering charging loads and drawing on PV, storage, or grid supply to power EV charging infrastructure. The mobile ESS vehicle is the exception, with its EV charging pile integrated directly into the unit.

8、What Certifications Do These C&I ESS Cabinets Have? Most of our C&I ESS cabinets are certified to core IEC/EN standards (IEC 62619, 63056, 60730-1, 61000, 60529, 62477) and UN 38.3 for transport safety. The 289kWh, 258kWh, and 385kWh models additionally hold grid-connected certifications for major European markets (VDE-AR-N, G99, CEI, EN 50549, UNE). The 385kWh model is currently the only cabinet in this line also certified to UL 1973 and UL 9540A for North American markets.
