Wenergy deployed a Stars Series 289KWh ESS Cabinet in Slovakia, integrated with a 650kW solar PV system to support municipal street lighting. The project combines solar generation with battery energy storage to improve the utilization of renewable electricity. Surplus solar power can be stored and made available when lighting demand increases, enabling more efficient use of locally generated clean energy. By integrating PV and energy storage, the project helps reduce reliance on conventional grid electricity while providing a more reliable and sustainable energy supply for municipal street lighting. The solution demonstrates how C&I energy storage can support local renewable energy utilization and smarter energy management.
