Wenergy has secured a contract for a 31.25 MW / 72.25 MWh standalone BESS project in Germany, featuring 250 Stars CL289Pro C&I Energy Storage Cabinets for electricity trading applications. The project marks a significant milestone in Wenergy’s expansion across the DACH region—Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Designed for standalone BESS power trading, the project combines Wenergy’s Stars CL289Pro C&I Energy Storage Cabinets with German-language commissioning and operating software and a localized European EMS platform. The system also integrates with third-party local electricity trading platforms, enabling real-time data exchange and management while supporting data compliance and the operational requirements of European power markets.

Germany is one of Europe’s key markets for battery energy storage and electricity trading. The successful deployment of this project further demonstrates Wenergy’s ability to deliver a localized, end-to-end BESS solution covering system operation, energy trading integration, and data compliance.
