Hybrid ESS for a Logistics Park in Eastern Europe

Project Overview

Wenergy delivered a 2.5MW/5.16MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) for a logistics park in Eastern Europe, helping the customer improve energy flexibility while reducing operating costs. The project deploys 20 Stars Series 258kWh All-in-One ESS Cabinets, configured across three grid connection points (5, 6, and 9 units). The system is integrated with 380kWp of solar PV and two 550kVA diesel generators, forming a hybrid energy solution for commercial and industrial applications.

 

Solution Highlights

The solution is designed to intelligently coordinate solar, battery storage, diesel generation, and grid power through a unified energy management strategy. It enables energy arbitrage to lower electricity costs, provides reliable backup power to maintain business continuity during grid outages, and optimizes the utilization of renewable energy.

To ensure long-term performance, the system is equipped with cloud-based EMS for 24/7 monitoring and real-time optimization. The Stars Series 289KWh ESS Cabinets also feature smart liquid cooling, intelligent BMS, and multi-layer fire protection for safe, stable, and efficient operation.
