Wenergy deployed a 250KW/578KWh BESS for a commercial and industrial project in Bulgaria, utilizing two Stars Series 289 kWh ESS Cabinets. The system is designed to maximize the utilization of on-site photovoltaic (PV) generation while creating additional value through energy trading.​ During periods of high solar generation, excess PV energy is stored in the battery system instead of being curtailed. When electricity prices rise, the stored energy is dispatched to the grid, enabling the project to capture greater market value while improving renewable energy utilization.​ By combining Solar PV with Battery Energy Storage, the project enhances energy flexibility, optimizes the use of renewable energy, and supports more efficient participation in the electricity market, demonstrating the growing role of C&I BESS in maximizing both energy and economic performance.
