Wenergy deployed two Stars Series 258kWh ESS Cabinets in the Netherlands, forming a 250kW/516kWh battery energy storage system (BESS) controlled by a third-party EMS. The system charges during periods of lower electricity prices and discharges during higher-price periods, enabling energy arbitrage and more flexible energy management. Through automated EMS scheduling, the BESS optimizes charging and discharging based on electricity price fluctuations. The solution helps reduce energy costs while improving the economic value and operational flexibility of commercial energy storage in the Netherlands.
