Wenergy Launches Stars CL261 at ENEX 2026, Strengthening Energy Storage Partnerships in Europe

Kielce, Poland – March 4, 2026 – Wenergy showcased its full portfolio of BESS at ENEX 2026, one of Central and Eastern Europe’s leading renewable energy exhibitions. During the event, the company held the global launch of its new Stars CL261kWh liquid-cooled C&I energy storage cabinet, while signing strategic cooperation agreements with several European energy companies to further strengthen its presence in the European energy storage market.

Global Debut of the Stars CL261KWh Liquid-Cooled C&I ESS

The launch ceremony opened with remarks from Susie Xu, Overseas Business Director of Wenergy, who highlighted the growing importance of commercial and industrial energy storage in supporting Europe’s energy transition.

Customer representative Piotr Sololowski then shared his experience collaborating with Wenergy on energy storage projects, emphasizing the reliability of the company’s technology and the value of long-term partnerships.

The product presentation was delivered by Senior Product Manager Starr, who introduced the design concept behind the Stars CL261KWh liquid-cooled C&I ESS, built around three key principles: safety, efficiency, and reliability. The system features a multi-layer safety architecture, including ceramic insulation between battery cells, pack- and cabinet-level aerosol fire suppression, explosion-proof ventilation, and continuous BMS monitoring. With optimized liquid-cooling and high-efficiency PCS integration, the system achieves over 90% round-trip efficiency while reducing installation footprint by 36%, making it well suited for high-density commercial applications.

Starr also highlighted several international BESS deployment cases, including a resort project in the Netherlands enabling peak-valley arbitrage and backup power, and a grid-side project in Latvia participating in FCR/aFRR frequency regulation, demonstrating the system’s flexibility across diverse energy scenarios.

Full-Scenario Energy Solutions Powered by EMS

Beyond live product innovation, Wenergy emphasized the role of its Energy Management System (EMS) as the intelligent core of its energy storage solutions. The platform supports multiple strategies including electricity price tracking, peak-valley arbitrage, demand control, PV self-consumption, and off-grid operation, enabling flexible energy management across commercial and industrial scenarios.

During the event, Mieszko Stubinski, a local partner of Wenergy, shared insights on how the EMS platform has been applied in real projects. One example highlighted a bus charging station in Poland, where solar energy stored during the day is used to power charging operations at night, helping reduce electricity costs while supporting the transition to greener public transportation.

Strategic Partnerships Strengthen Regional Collaboration

During ENEX 2026, Wenergy signed strategic cooperation agreements with multiple energy companies from Poland and Central & Eastern Europe, covering localized technical services, joint project development, and market expansion.

The partnerships reflect Wenergy’s long-term commitment to building a stronger regional presence. The company has already established offices and service networks across Europe, with regional warehouses in the Netherlands, Austria, and Germany to support efficient logistics and localized service.

Through continued innovation in BESS technology and intelligent EMS platforms, Wenergy aims to accelerate the deployment of safe, efficient, and scalable energy storage solutions, supporting the growth of renewable energy and the global energy transition.
