Wenergy recently welcomed a key partner from Slovenia to its manufacturing facility, where the two parties officially signed a 100 MWh per year energy storage cooperation agreement, marking a new phase in their strategic collaboration in the European market.
The partnership is built on a strong foundation of proven project delivery. Previously, Wenergy and the Slovenian partner successfully implemented a PV + Energy Storage + Static Transfer Switch (STS) solution for a hotel located in the Alpine region. Designed for high-altitude and harsh environmental conditions, the system enabled peak–valley self-consumption and energy arbitrage during operation periods, while also serving as a reliable backup power solution during the winter off-season. The project demonstrated stable performance, high safety standards, and strong adaptability in challenging scenarios.
The Slovenian partner is one of the country’s leading smart meter manufacturers and grid software developers, with extensive experience in the power sector and strong EPC capabilities. Its expansion into energy storage represents a natural extension of its expertise in grid intelligence and energy management, further strengthening its ability to deliver integrated energy solutions.
This newly signed 100 MWh annual agreement reflects mutual trust, validated technical capability, and a shared vision for accelerating the deployment of intelligent and reliable energy storage systems across Europe.
Looking ahead, Wenergy will continue to work closely with its partners to support the development of resilient, efficient, and future-ready energy infrastructure, contributing to the ongoing transformation of the global energy landscape.
